Overdose Prevention Centers National Solidarity Week — Denver

On Monday August 26th, 2024, Colorado harm reduction advocates will hold a press conference to kick off this week of action and commemorate Overdose Prevention Centers National Solidarity Week! We invite the community to join us on the east steps of the Denver City and County Building at 4:15 p.m for the press conference. Denver City Council will issue a proclamation at 5:30 p.m. to recognize and honor our loved ones we have lost to preventable overdose deaths, and their families, for International Overdose Awareness Day. Time: Please join us on the east steps of the City and County Building at 4:15 p.m. Denver City Council will issue a Proclamation at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th floor of the City and County Building.

From Monday, Aug 26th-Saturday, August 31st, in support of Overdose Prevention Centers National Solidarity Week and International Overdose Awareness Day, there will be opportunities for folks to reach out to decision makers, social media sharing opportunities, and ways to make a ruckus & have our voices heard!
