DESCRIPTION:This September\, TSRG will be co-hosting our first fundraiser in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD)\, and we know that you are committed to finding solutions to the opioid crisis. \nThe Schreiber Research Group (TSRG) is hosting a virtual event for people in the Metropolitan Denver area. \nTeams can participate in a walk-a-thon\, run\, or bike ride anytime from August 31 – September 23 in recognition of IOAD (August 31\, 2023). \nThe TSRG Team will be meeting in person on Saturday\, September 16th\, at 8:00 a.m.\, at Washington Park in Denver near the entrance at Kentucky to do our activities\, if you would like to join us. \nTSRG will also be supporting the Otero County Health Department (OCHD) at La Junta City Park on Saturday\, September 23\, 2023 at 9am and 5pm.  \nThe fundraiser features a color walk/run/bikeathon\, and motorcycle poker in the morning. \nThe evening community event will have live and recorded music\, dinner\, and activities for children and adults. Our goal is to promote and inspire people in recovery in Southeast Colorado to live healthy\, productive\, and successful lives.
